Addison Arbor Foundation Projects
The goals of the Addison Arbor Foundation are two fold. First, to increase the number of trees within the Town of Addison, to
create a tree canopy that will become the Town's trademark in the DFW Metroplex. And second, to plant 50 trees each year for
the next 20 years along street medians, parks and greenbelts.
| The Ryland's Project - Les Lacs Park |
This Ryland's project could not have happened without the gracious donations of Phyllis and Ray Ryland.
The Ryland's gift provided the resources for this beautiful grove of crape myrtles and makes a perfect addition
to Les Lacs Park, located on Beltway Drive.

| The Inwood Road Project |
|
The second project completed in 2003 involved installing irrigation, decorative paving and landscaping on the center
median on the south end of Inwood Road, which serves as a gateway entry into Addison on the south side of town. Asian
Jasmine groundcover, seasonal color and crape myrtle trees were planted to provide a splash of color in a median that
was otherwise an eyesore.

| The Surveyor Blvd. Project |
|
The Surveyor Blvd. & Belt Line Road intersection beautification project was completed in 2000, which involved
installing irrigation and landscaping on an intersection median filled with deteriorating concrete and overgrown
weeds. Ornamental grasses, perennial flowering plants and a crape myrtle tree were planted giving this intersection
a whole new look.
