Details: Aikido, a bronze, steel and glass kinetic sculpture created by artist David B. Hickman in 2000, is located at the new Galaxy Fixed Base Operator (FBO) site at Addison Airport across from Addison Circle Park. Originally installed in a courtyard in the Addison Circle District, AAF purchased the piece from MAA (formerly Post Properties) and restored it in 2018.

One of David Hickman’s original kinetic sculptures, Aikido is his representation of two Aikido martial arts figures with the wind activating their graceful movements.
