Park Projects
The Addison Arbor Foundations works with the Town of Addison’s Parks and Recreation Department to identify potential projects for trees, landscaping, benches and other parks enhancements.
Trees and Landscaping
Over the years, AAF has sponspored the planting of over 350 trees and numerous landscaping projects. Some of our major projects include trees planted for the George Herbert Bush Elementary School in 2011, vitex trees along Les Lacs park as part of Supergro 45 in 2011 and the Les Lacs beautification program in 2017.

Benches
AAF has funded benches which provide both a place to sit as well as public art.

Nic Noblique’s corten steel bench is a complimentary companion to Profound Secret. In 2025, AAF commissioned artist Ken McCall to create 3 leaf inspired benches (Redbud, Texas Ash and Bur Oak) for the Treehouse trail behind the AMLI development on Midway Road. AMLI Residential funded the benches.

Wood Art
AAF commissioned wood artist Hugo Priscilliano to carve these delightful creatures from the tree stumps of trees damaged during winter storms. The owl, beaver, woodpecker and bear are located along the White Rock Trail. The red hawk is located behind the old Town Hall building on Belt Line Road.
